This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes the privacy practices of EquipMeFi, LLC (“EquipMeFi,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) for equipmefi.com and any related pages, forms, application workflows, document-upload tools, support features, communications, and services that link to this Policy (collectively, the “Services”).
01 Scope of This Policy
This Policy applies when you visit or interact with the Services, submit a financing inquiry or application, upload documents, communicate with us, receive authorized messages, or otherwise provide personal information to EquipMeFi.
It does not govern the independent privacy practices of banks, lenders, financing companies, benefit providers, advertising platforms, or other third parties. Their privacy policies apply when they collect or process information for their own purposes.
EquipMeFi is a financing-support and referral platform. Independent financing providers make their own underwriting, approval, pricing, and account-servicing decisions.

The information we collect depends on how you use the Services and what is needed to respond to your request.

- You directly, including through forms, applications, document uploads, telephone calls, emails, text messages, and support interactions.

- Public and commercial sources, such as business registries, professional websites, public records, and verification databases.
- Automatically from devices and browsers, through cookies, pixels, logs, and similar technologies.
04 How We Use Personal Information
We may use personal information to:
- Operate, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Services.
- Receive, review, organize, and process financing inquiries and applications.
- Verify identity, business information, authority, eligibility, and submitted documents.
- Match applicants with potentially relevant independent financing providers and transmit information at the applicant’s direction.
- Request additional information and provide application, document, and status support.
- Communicate by email, telephone, or text message in accordance with applicable law and your preferences.
- Detect, investigate, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security incidents, and unlawful activity.

05 How We Disclose Personal Information
We may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients:
- Financing providers and referral partners that may evaluate, fulfill, or support your requested financing.
- Service providers and contractors that perform hosting, storage, analytics, CRM, document processing, communications, e-signature, identity verification, fraud prevention, professional, or support services on our behalf.
- Business benefit and program partners when you request, activate, or become eligible for a specific benefit, promotion, report, or service.
- Professional advisers, authorities, and legal recipients when disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate wrongdoing, or establish and defend claims.
- Parties to a business transaction involving a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar corporate event, subject to appropriate protections.
- Other parties at your direction or with your consent.
We do not sell or share mobile opt-in data or SMS consent records with unaffiliated third parties for their own marketing. We may provide that information to vendors that help operate and support our messaging program.
06 Financing Providers and Application Sharing
When you submit a financing inquiry or application, you direct EquipMeFi to use the information provided to identify and communicate with potentially relevant independent providers. We may disclose all or part of an application—including business, ownership, financial, contact, identification, and supporting-document information—to one or more providers, depending on the requested product and matching process.
EquipMeFi may receive compensation from a financing provider or partner for a referral, introduction, completed transaction, or related service. Depending on the law that applies, a compensated disclosure or certain advertising-related disclosures may be treated as a “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising,” even when personal information is not exchanged for a direct cash payment.
Providers independently determine their own eligibility criteria, underwriting, credit review, pricing, documentation requirements, and privacy practices. Review each provider’s disclosures and privacy policy before accepting a product or providing additional information directly to that provider.
07 Cookies and Similar Technologies
We and our vendors may use cookies, pixels, local storage, scripts, and similar technologies to operate the website, remember preferences, measure performance, prevent fraud, understand traffic, and evaluate marketing effectiveness.
Types of technologies we may use
- Essential technologies required for security, navigation, forms, application progress, and core functionality.
- Functional technologies that remember settings and improve usability.
- Analytics technologies that help us understand website activity and performance.
- Advertising and measurement technologies that may help evaluate campaigns or deliver more relevant advertising, where permitted and enabled.
You can use browser controls to block or delete cookies. Some functionality may not work correctly if essential technologies are blocked. Where required by law and technically supported, we also process recognized opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, as a request to opt out of applicable sale, sharing, or targeted advertising.
Browser “Do Not Track” settings are not interpreted consistently across the industry. We respond to legally recognized opt-out signals as described above and may provide additional controls through a cookie or privacy-preferences tool.
08 Email, Telephone, and SMS Communications
We may use your contact information to respond to requests, provide service communications, send application confirmations, request documents, deliver status updates, and provide financing-related follow-up.
SMS and MMS privacy
If you choose the optional SMS consent checkbox, we maintain records associated with that choice, which may include your mobile number, the consent disclosure displayed, opt-in date and time, source page, message history, and later opt-out or HELP requests. Consent is not a condition of applying for or obtaining financing or purchasing a product or service.
- Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to opt out of recurring text messages and HELP for assistance.
- We may send a final confirmation after an opt-out request and may retain suppression records so that your preference is honored.
- Wireless carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails through the link in the message. You may still receive non-marketing communications that are necessary to respond to a request, administer an application, document a transaction, protect security, or comply with law.
09 Data Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, and disclosure. Measures may include access controls, secure transmission and storage practices, vendor oversight, authentication, monitoring, employee procedures, and incident-response processes appropriate to the nature of the information and Services.
No website, application, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for using secure devices and networks, protecting credentials, and notifying us promptly if you believe information submitted through the Services may have been compromised.
10 Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, support an application or business relationship, maintain consent and suppression records, comply with legal and contractual obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, enforce agreements, and protect our rights.
Retention periods vary based on the type and sensitivity of information, the status of an inquiry or application, provider and service requirements, legal limitation periods, recordkeeping obligations, security considerations, and whether the information is needed to document a transaction or communication preference. When information is no longer required, we may delete, de-identify, or securely dispose of it, subject to lawful exceptions and backup practices.
11 Your Choices and Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have rights concerning your personal information.
To submit a request, email support@equipmefi.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject line and describe the right you wish to exercise. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify your identity, authority, business relationship, and request. Authorized agents may be required to provide proof of authority.
Some information may be exempt from a request, including information governed by federal financial privacy laws, maintained to complete a requested transaction, required for security or fraud prevention, or retained to comply with law. If we deny a request, we will explain the basis when required and provide appeal instructions where applicable.
12 California Privacy Notice
This section supplements the rest of the Policy for California residents and is intended to address applicable requirements of the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended (“CCPA”). Terms such as “personal information,” “sensitive personal information,” “sale,” and “sharing” have the meanings assigned by California law.
Collection, use, and disclosure
The categories of personal information we may collect are described in Section 2. The sources, business or commercial purposes, and recipient categories are described in Sections 3 through 7. We may collect and disclose identifiers, customer-record information, commercial information, internet or electronic activity, geolocation data, professional or employment-related information, inferences, and sensitive personal information for the purposes stated in this Policy.
We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for the purpose of inferring characteristics about a person beyond purposes permitted by applicable law. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.
Sale, sharing, and targeted advertising
Application disclosures to financing providers are made to fulfill a consumer’s request for financing-support services. EquipMeFi may receive compensation for referrals or completed transactions. In addition, some advertising or measurement technologies may involve disclosures that qualify as “sharing” or targeted advertising under state law. California residents may submit an opt-out request through the method described in Section 11. Where legally required, recognized opt-out preference signals will also be honored.
California rights
Subject to verification and exceptions, California residents may request access, deletion, correction, information about collection and disclosure practices, opt-out of sale or sharing, limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information, and receive equal service and pricing when exercising privacy rights. We will not retaliate or unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a right.
Promotions, rewards, or benefit programs may have separate terms and privacy disclosures. If a program constitutes a financial incentive or price or service difference under California law, we will provide any notice and consent required for that program.
13 Nevada Privacy Notice
EquipMeFi is based in Nevada. Nevada law requires certain website operators to describe the categories of covered information collected, the categories of third parties with whom information may be shared, the process for reviewing and requesting changes to covered information, how material changes to the privacy notice are communicated, and whether third parties may collect information across websites. Those matters are addressed throughout this Policy.
Nevada residents may submit a verified request to opt out of any future “sale” of covered information as defined by Nevada law by emailing support@equipmefi.com with “Nevada Privacy Request” in the subject line. Nevada’s statutory definition of sale is narrower than definitions used in some other states and includes specific exceptions.
Third-party analytics or advertising providers may collect information about online activities over time and across different websites or services, depending on the technologies enabled. Available cookie and opt-out controls are described in Section 7.
14 Children’s Privacy
The Services are intended for adults and business representatives and are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through a financing application. If you believe a child provided personal information to us, contact us so that we can review and take appropriate action.
15 Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in the Services, technology, vendors, business practices, or law. The revised version will be posted with an updated “Last Updated” date. When required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before applying a material change to previously collected personal information.
