These Financing Disclosures & Licenses (“Disclosures”) apply to the current business-financing support and referral services offered through equipmefi.com and related application tools (the “Services”). They are intended to help applicants understand EquipMeFi’s role before submitting an application or accepting financing from an independent provider.
01 Scope and EquipMeFi’s Role
EquipMeFi, LLC operates a business-financing support and referral platform. We may collect application information, help applicants identify financing needs, organize documents, communicate about application status, and transmit information to independent financing providers or service partners.
Unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement, EquipMeFi does not:
- Make or fund loans, extend credit, or accept deposits;
- Make the final underwriting or approval decision;
- Set a provider’s rates, factor rates, repayment amounts, fees, collateral requirements, or other financing terms;
- Service, collect, or modify a provider’s financing account; or
- Guarantee that an applicant will receive an offer or that an available offer will meet the applicant’s objectives.
Current Phase 1 scope: These Disclosures cover EquipMeFi’s present business-financing services. Future vehicle-marketplace transactions, dealer-partner relationships, closing or transaction fees, consumer financing, title activity, and vehicle-sale obligations will be governed by updated or additional disclosures before the marketplace launches.
02 Independent Financing Providers
Financing is offered, if at all, by independent banks, lenders, finance companies, equipment-financing companies, leasing companies, receivables purchasers, real-estate financing providers, or other funding sources. Each provider operates under its own policies, eligibility standards, underwriting methods, documentation requirements, and regulatory obligations.
Providers may offer different types of transactions. Some products may be loans or lines of credit, while others may be leases, equipment-financing arrangements, sales-based financing, merchant cash advances, factoring, or purchases of future receivables. The legal structure of the transaction will be identified in the provider’s documents.
EquipMeFi does not endorse every term offered by a provider. Applicants should review the full offer, compare alternatives, and ask the provider to explain any term that is unclear.
03 No Guarantee of Approval or Funding
Submitting an inquiry or application does not guarantee pre-qualification, approval, funding, a particular amount, a particular rate, or a particular repayment structure. “Pre-qualified,” “matched,” “eligible,” or similar language may reflect preliminary information and is not a binding financing commitment.
Approval and funding remain subject to provider review, verification, credit and fraud checks, satisfactory documentation, business performance, collateral or guaranty requirements, execution of final documents, and any conditions imposed by the provider.
Any stated decision or funding timeframe is an estimate, not a guarantee. Timing may be affected by the completeness and accuracy of the application, provider availability, verification needs, bank holidays, and other factors outside EquipMeFi’s control.
04 Rates, Terms, Costs, and Repayment
Rates, terms, costs, fees, repayment frequency, maturity, collateral requirements, personal guaranties, prepayment provisions, and other obligations vary by provider, product, applicant, and state. Website examples, calculators, ranges, or illustrations are for general informational purposes and are not offers or commitments.
| Item | What applicants should understand |
|---|---|
| Pricing format | A provider may disclose an interest rate, annual percentage rate, factor rate, total repayment amount, finance charge, lease payment, discount rate, or another pricing measure depending on the product and applicable law. |
| Fees | Provider, origination, documentation, closing, underwriting, broker, late, returned-payment, or other fees may apply when stated in the offer or agreement. |
| Repayment | Payments may be daily, weekly, monthly, seasonal, percentage-based, or structured in another manner. Review the payment method and total obligation before accepting. |
| Security | Some transactions may require business assets, equipment, real estate, receivables, a UCC filing, a personal guaranty, or other security. |
| Controlling documents | The provider’s written disclosure, approval, offer, and final agreement—not website content or preliminary discussions—control the transaction. |
05 Referral and Provider Compensation
EquipMeFi may receive compensation from a financing provider, service partner, or other business partner when an applicant is referred, approved, funded, or uses a related service. Compensation may be structured as a referral fee, marketing fee, success fee, commission, revenue share, broker compensation, or another permitted arrangement.
The amount or structure of compensation may vary by provider and transaction. Where applicable law requires transaction-specific broker, referral, or compensation disclosures, those disclosures will be provided in the required form and at the required time.
Applicants are not required to accept an offer. Consider the total cost, payment burden, term, security requirements, and available alternatives—not only the amount offered.
06 Credit Reports and Other Inquiries
Depending on the provider and product, application review may involve business-credit reports, consumer-credit reports for owners or guarantors, bank-account verification, identity verification, fraud screening, public-record searches, or other permitted inquiries.
A provider may use a “soft” inquiry, a “hard” inquiry, or both. A hard inquiry may affect an individual’s consumer credit score. The applicable authorization will be presented in the application, provider form, or other disclosure before the inquiry is made. Applicants should review the authorization and ask whether a hard inquiry is expected.
Providing false, misleading, incomplete, or unauthorized information may result in rejection, cancellation, delayed funding, reporting to appropriate parties, or other consequences permitted by law.
07 Equal Credit Opportunity
The federal Equal Credit Opportunity Act and Regulation B prohibit discrimination in credit transactions on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, marital status, age—provided the applicant has the capacity to contract—receipt of public-assistance income, or the good-faith exercise of rights under the Consumer Credit Protection Act.
EquipMeFi expects participating financing providers to comply with applicable fair-lending and nondiscrimination requirements. The provider acting as the creditor is responsible for its credit decision and for any approval, counteroffer, adverse-action, valuation, or other notice required for the transaction.
Concerns about discrimination may be reported to EquipMeFi and to the financing provider identified in the applicable application or offer documents.
08 State Commercial-Financing Disclosures
Certain states require standardized, transaction-specific disclosures for covered commercial-financing offers. Depending on the jurisdiction and product, required disclosures may include the amount financed, disbursement amount, finance charge, annual percentage rate or estimated annual percentage rate, total repayment amount, payment amount and frequency, term, prepayment terms, broker compensation, or other information.
Any state-required offer-level disclosure will be delivered by the responsible provider, broker, or other covered party when applicable. This website page is a general disclosure and does not replace a disclosure required for a specific offer or transaction.
09 State Availability, Licenses, and Registrations
Financing products and EquipMeFi services may not be available in every state. Availability may depend on the applicant’s location, business location, financing purpose, transaction type, provider authority, and licensing or registration requirements.
Before EquipMeFi performs an activity that requires a license or registration, EquipMeFi intends to obtain the required authority, limit or discontinue the activity, or provide the service through an appropriately licensed provider or partner. Nothing on this page should be interpreted as a representation that no license is required for a particular activity or jurisdiction.
Independent providers are responsible for maintaining licenses, registrations, exemptions, and other authority applicable to their products and activities. Provider identity and transaction documents should be reviewed for provider-specific licensing information.
10 Advertising, Statistics, and Estimates
Marketing statements concerning approval rates, financing amounts, provider-network size, speed, available products, or customer experiences describe general program information or historical results. They do not guarantee that any individual applicant will receive the same result.
Maximum financing amounts are subject to provider limits and applicant qualifications. Testimonials, examples, and hypothetical scenarios are illustrative and may not represent typical results. Material conditions and limitations should be considered together with any headline claim.
11 No Legal, Tax, Accounting, or Investment Advice
EquipMeFi does not provide legal, tax, accounting, investment, or fiduciary advice. Information available through the Services is general and should not be relied upon as a substitute for advice from qualified professionals who understand the applicant’s business, financial condition, and transaction.
Applicants are responsible for evaluating whether a financing product is appropriate and sustainable for their business.
